Is a special piece of work that is again written, programmed, sung and produced by Avis.  A lot of passion went into this project and you'll have to check it out for yourselves.  AVIS' clear, concise delivery is what makes her music so beautiful and heartfelt.  You not only hear her clearly, you feel her compassion for the appreciation she exudes on "I'll Be Here When You return" as well as "America The Beautiful".  AVIS commented that in her opinion, no one has sung "The Star Spangled Banner" better than Whitney Houston and Marvin Gaye.  So, her idea was to put equally as much passion into "America The Beautiful" to remind us of our great country, her stint with Ray Charles when she sang it with him and the loyalty and strength our Troops display daily for our lives and well being.  There is also a fantastic video that darns this package adding to the visual touch which also displays AVIS' acting abilities.  She is to be admire her for this dedication because she truly extended her talents and continues to top herself with each project she produces.  Hat's off to Ms. A.! www.cdbaby.com/cd/avis2

"ONE SAMBA NIGHT IN TAHITI"  

AVIS has her finger on the pulse as far as her writing skills and can tell you stories of her life as well as stories that you can definitely relate too. She's performed this Latin/jazz/hip-hop composition “One Samba Night in Tahiti”, which is vocally and musically creative and cleaver, at many of Hank Robinson’s  Music Festival in Rosarita Beach Mexico and Palm Springs, which have brought her audiences to their feet. AVIS wrote this song while performing in Tahiti a few years ago. In the song, she used her imagination to take you on a journey of romance, passion and pleasure. AVIS let the music engulf her as her thoughts soared to create this masterpiece where she Raps it down briefly about her background and music experiences.  Leaving no stone unturned, AVIS scats fluently in the song to give it the final touch. This mix of contemporary jazz and a Latin percussions grooves as The Tropical Combo Bands track makes the song solid.   The Brothers, Frederick and Stephane’ Rossini in Tahiti laid the groundwork with their great orchestra and gave her this track to write the lyrics and a melody.
