The word is
out in various places that you can call AVIS up at a moment’s
notice and she can perform a complete show, an entire night with
any R&B group, Big Band, or Jazz Combo with fire and passion like
you’ve never witnessed. Many have seen her on the West Coast at
probably one of the more popular night spots like Stevie's on The
Strip in Encino California, “Monsoons” down
on the pier, “Spazio’s Restaurant” in the Valley as well at the
ANSWER march against war in Hollywood California in March of this
year where she marched and protested with movie writer and
producer Ron Kovite, "Born on The Fourth of July" and
Congress Woman Cynthia McKinney.
The past few
years, AVIS has spent performing at "The Blue Guitar Night
Club in Palm Springs, where the entire room was standing on their
feet at the end of the concert cheering for more!. She has become
a regular with the Robinson's Entertainment Group and has
a following booking their reservations for the up and coming events
spent in Rosarita Mexico. These R&B and Jazz excursions are
always a pleasant get-a-way. AVIS had also been called to perform
at the New Disney Auditorium and the Garden of Eden to pay tribute
to Ray Charles with Ellis Hall's band. Kevin Tony and his All
Star Band, formerly of the Black Birds invited Avis to
perform with him at the Garden and other events. People call
Avis, because she’s good and she’s dependable.
She is also scheduled to perform in Tahiti for a City Festival in
2009. So if
you’re in need of a vacation, why not plan to hop a flight and
tour the beautiful island with her as she sings in the Summer
breeze! AVIS is steady on her path to reach all heights and
explore all that the entertainment industry has to offer a soloist
of her caliber. Presently, Avis is working on fresh material for
her up and coming show dates with The Jimmy McConnell Orchestra
and various bands in the city. She is also promoting and
performing songs from her new release "A TRIBUTE DEDICATED TO
